On Thursday, one of the best matches came in the morning, when Bethany Wu of Diamond Bar, Calif., defeated Nicole Morales of South Salem, N.Y., with a par on the par-4 18th hole in the round of 32. 'Nicole is a really good opponent, and I knew she would come out strong.
