Eco-conscious students at Meadow Pond Elementary School in South Salem are making the Earth a little greener through the new group Recycling Matters this year. "[Recycling Matters] is comprised of fifth-grade students who want to help the Earth by keeping items out of the landfills and reusing them, while helping others at the same time," said Lara Monasch, the group's advisor.
