Michaels Jr. of South Salem in his legal actions against the State of New York and others involved in the former White Plains insurance broker's "malicious prosecution." ALBANY, N.Y. -- A former White Plains insurance broker has filed a notice saying he intends to sue the State of New York for unspecified damages for his false arrest in March 2013 which his lawyer says led to the loss of his license, reputation and livelihood.
