LEWISBORO, N.Y. The Friends of the Lewisboro Library present a local author event with noted local food historian and author Peter G. Rose of South Salem on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the Cyrus Russell House, 779 Route 35, Cross River. Rose will discuss her new book "Delicious December How the Dutch Brought us Santa, Presents and Treats," which mixes food and history in a celebration of Dutch and American holiday traditions.
