Former Westchester County district attorney Jeanine Pirro, a Harrison resident who opened an investigation in 2000 into the disappearance of Robert Durst's first wife, Kathleen, made an appearance at Durst's hearing in New Orleans, according to The Los Angeles Times. Durst, a Scarsdale native and former South Salem resident, has been charged with murder in connection with the 2000 shooting of his friend Susan Berman at her home in Beverly Hills, the report said.
